Life in Lockdown… It seems like we all live in different world now since my last news update back at the beginning of March, as so much has changed due to the impact of COVID-19Those of you who follow me on social media will know that I returned to the UK in March intending to spend a break before The Cult shows started in April so ended up caught up in the lockdown here. It worked out well though as my partner Leilani was already here and that meant we could be together… and we even got engaged (and yes… Read the full article.

+ A SONIC TEMPLE + TAKES THE UK It’s been great to be back in the UK and the response to this tour has been amazing. I feel that this line up is on fire and I’m and really enjoying these shows! We felt it would be good to try something different on this run of dates and in Birmingham last week we were joined onstage by a string section to play ‘Edie’ with us which was the first time we’ve ever done that. It’s not something that is planned for all shows but we definitely have a few more surprises up… Read the full article.
Early last year I announced that I was looking at moving on a lot of my memorabilia now that much of it had been photographed and added to my website. What I didn’t realise was just how much time and effort can go into making something like that happen and being so busy with the band meant I just didn’t have that time. Then, this year I saw that Peter Hook, one of my mates from Manchester, was doing exactly what I wanted to do but with his Joy Division collection… he was letting it go back to the fans. + A SONIC TEMPLE + So, after a long time waiting we are back doing what I love best and that’s playing live. Last weekend we played the first A SONIC TEMPLE shows and judging by the response we received I can tell it’s going to be special. The core of the set focuses on Sonic Temple but we feel that the ‘playing a whole album’ format is a bit jaded and even back in the day of the original tour we never did every song as with any album some tracks are more suited to the live experience. What this… Read the full article.

Since my last news update I’ve taken the opportunity of it being a ‘downtime’ in my day job with The Cult to experience some of the most wondeful areas of the world… all right here close to my home on the West coast. I went on two journeys… the first by motorbike and the second on foot and each have give me memories to last for the rest of my life. There’s a Revolution, yeah… It’s been a really busy couple of months since I was last in touch as I’ve been with The Cult taking part in the Revolution 3 tour along with Stone Temple Pilots and Bush. The concept, created in conjunction Live Nation, was to have three great bands play arena shows with each one playing for 1 hour and revolving the running order. It sounds a bit complicated but with a great bunch of guys behind the scenes (for all three bands) it soon got into a groove. What was great for us all was the opportunity… Read the full article.
