Thanks for the Love South America So, I’m finally back home after our South American expedition… 25 days… 18 flights… 11 shows & 5 countries! I have spent my ‘working’ life feeling blessed that I get to tour the world doing something I love, but as any musician will tell you there’s a lot of hanging around on a tour! What makes it all worth while, though, is getting out there on stage and doing it… and when that comes together with a great crowd it can be magical. The unbridled passion we experienced from the fans on this tour… Read the full article.
Me, Morrissey & Manchester… Just released in the UK is a great new film called ‘England is Mine’ that tells the story of Morrissey’s teenage years. As I’d played together with him in a band at the time I was invited to be involved as a consultant on the new film as well as providing some incidental music. To co-incide with the release I’ve done an interview exclusively for www.billyduffy.comalongside actor Adam Lawrence who plays me in the film… and you can read it here… Me, Morrissey & Manchester South American Here We Come… It now just a month until The Cult gang head… Read the full article.
Thanks Europe… I have to say I’ve had an amazing time over the last few weeks in Europe. Each of the countries we visited had their own beauty and lovely cities but one thing remained the same… the crowds who were amazing. Being based in America it can make it much harder than we would like to play around the world but rest assured when we can we do! The band are on fire at the moment and I think I’m playing as well as I ever had so it’s quite hard to pick out a highlight but if you… Read the full article.

Live & Dangerous! It was really great to get back out on the road with The Cult taking the ‘Hidden City’ tour to the East Coast and we had some amazing shows. The band picked up where we left off at the end of last year and were sounding as tight as ever. I have to say a massive thanks to each and every one of you that made it along to one of those shows as without you the magic wouldn’t be there. A extra big thanks to those few of you that did a road trip and followed us to a… Read the full article.
‘CHAOS’ in Long Beach I did my first show of the year playing at the Toyota Grand Prix in Long Beach with the Kings of Chaos guys. It was a busy few days leading up to the show including two very long rehearsal days as usually Steve Stevens plays with the band but he was away doing his own shows in Europe so I had to learn his parts for about a dozen songs. I know I’ve said it before but it really helps my playing when I have to do this and you’re never too old to keep improving.… Read the full article.

Hi So the holiday season has come and gone and we’re getting into 2017 good and proper now. I had a great time back in England for a couple of weeks and it was really busy as I split my time between London and Manchester for some sightseeing and shopping with the family. Whilst I was back in my hometown I always try to catch up with Johnny as well as take in a City match so it was ace that I was able to combine the two as I was a guest speaker before the game against Burnley and we… Read the full article.
A look back at my 2016… “I think it’s fair to say that 2016 has been a year that has been filled with a lot of sadness for many of you especially with the passing of so many truly inspirational people. There will be loads of Year End Reviews full of lists of these stories and whilst my life has been shaken by many of them too I’ve chosen to focus on all the great things from my year in the hope that we can take some positive vibes on into 2017… If it’s JANUARY then it must be NAMM!… Read the full article.
CHAOS, CHAOS & MORE CHAOS! Since my last message I’ve been busy creating CHAOS with Matt Sorum and the boys! The three nights in Vegas with the Kings of Chaos were storming and as you can see from the photo of me and Corey at the rehearsals we had a lot of fun! It’s weird cos a few people have said they thought we were the best covers band they’ve ever seen and I’ve had to put them right in that we’re a ‘Catalogue Band’ because we’ve not been covering other people’s songs we’ve been playing ones that we’ve all… Read the full article.
