Obviously with my commitments to recording and touring with The Cult it’s not often that I get chance to play other gigs. Ever record a concert on your phone? Terrible, right? Not always… Nokia asked Billy to help them to see how good their Lumia 920 phone was at capturing his unique guitar sound. On 22nd September Billy appeared as one of the special guest artists at the Marshall 50 Years of Loud at Wembley Arena, London UK. The concert was a celebration of not only the legendasy amps, but also a tribute to The brand creator Dr. Jim Marshall. Billy was in great company as a whole heap of the world’s top guitarists paid homage to a man that helped them find their sound.
