As I come to the end of a couple of very enjoyable weeks back in England I thought I send out a quick news update before I head back to California and get busy again finishing off the album.

The eagle eyed amongst you will have spotted that a couple of live shows have appeared in the Tour Dates section of my website. The first is a charity gig in support of the ‘Dolphin Project’ featuring the ‘Kings of Chaos’ at the Fillmore in San Francisco on July 29th. It’s always great to get involved to support a good cause and even better when it means I get the chance to jam with some great mates.
It’s a fantastic line up with Slash, Sammy Hagar, Glenn Hughes, Miles Kennedy, Matt Sorum, Duff McKagan, Gilby Clarke and me!
For more details on the charity check out www.DolphinProject.com
Then on November 1st The Cult are headlining Voodoo Fest in New Orleans.
There may be one or two more shows before the end of the year but rest assured there’ll be plenty of chances to catch us live as we are looking to get out worldwide in 2016 in support of the new album! As always the best way to keep up to date with Cult news is via the official website www.thecult.us
As both a player and fan of guitar music I thought it might be fun to run a series of short videos on my YouTube Channel featuring me playing riffs that are either ones I’ve written or that inspired my playing in the early days. I won’t be telling you what each riff is and that’s where the fun comes in as you need to comment as to whether it’s a Duffy song or someone else plus… what the title is! There’s no prizes but I plan on making some pretty obscure to test your skills!!!
You can check out #1 here…
