For the launch of the self titled “The Cult” in 1994 we did a couple of photo shoots in Los Angeles after we finished recording the album up in Canada.
Interestingly the expensive fancy "official" photo shoot which took place at the Château Marmont Hotel on Sunset didn't really yield any usable photographs.
However, we also did a sort of thrown together low budget shoot in a bar in Hollywood which yielded the photos we used on the back of the album and probably these ones as well.
I learned that sometimes throwing money at a thing isn't always the best way to get the results you need!
