“Around the time of “Ceremony” there were so many covers it's actually hard to keep track and as we were definitely at the peak of our commercial power it was very easy to get press coverage.
The pic was taken in our hotel lobby in Cologne, Germany when we played a show there as it was an easy spot to meet up with the journalist and photographer whist busy out on the European tour.
Interestingly, Courtney is prominent on the front cover too as at that time, bubbling away in the background, "grunge" was about to come and give us a good kick in the arse!!!”
