"I started wearing the Iron Cross in The Cult back around the time of 'Love' inspired by the look of the Ashton Brothers from The Stooges on their first album. Later when it appeared on the 'Sonic Temple' album and tour backdrop it became totally associated with the band. By this time I didn't wear it so much but did on this night of the tour."
