"This press photo from the Sonic Temple period, in 1989, was one of the many photo shoots we were doing to promote what was obviously our biggest release to date. Andrew MacPherson was our photographer of choice with Beggars Banquet at that time and he'd also done the iconic cover shot of me too.
This one is quite rare because for some reason it wasn't used much but I can't remember if it was us or Beggars that made that decision."
