As well as my denim cutoff jacket you can see I’ve got a Motörhead wristband on as we were pretty much immersed in hard rock music at the time and of course Motörhead have always been the metal band the punks loved.
I remember spending a lot of time hanging around in London when we weren't on tour and bumping into Lemmy a fair bit too and we became friends.
The guitar in the pic was my Gibson Chet Atkins model that I was using on stage a little bit and featured in the ‘Lil Devil video.
I never really got along with the guitar, as for me, the body was a little bit thin and the pick-ups didn't quite have the sound I was looking for from a semi acoustic.”
