“This flyer is from an “instore” appearance at Vinyl Fetish record store during our first trip to LA, and they used the same photocopy “punk” graphics as the poster for the show we’d played at Perkins Palace a few days earlier.
It was an event used to promote local shows by up-and-coming bands, which was a thing at the time, especially unsigned ones like us from the UK. On the day we were terrified that we were going to have a "Spinal Tap" moment where nobody showed up at the instore but thankfully it wasn’t that bad.
We actually played at the Music Machine in LA on the same night and interesting factoid the support band was Psi Com fronted by Perry Farrell before he formed Jane's Addiction."
