“This pic was taken by my good mate Gavin who was working for the band at the time. The plan was to split a US tour into half and ‘pop’ down to South America for some shows in the middle.
We started on the West Coast and headed east (via Texas) and paused and did Argentina, then Sao Paulo, Brazil before Rio… Cult addicts will know that “pause” didn’t lead to us heading back to the US but a break that lasted until 1999! But that’s another story 😉”
