"This is a printer’s proof produced by Beggars Banquet for The Cult “Dreamtime” cassette in 1984.
Back then the record company would send these proofs of covers and artwork for approval by the band, and I liked to keep them as cool items to go with the finished product. These days we are sent digital versions of everything for sign off so never see anything physical until the actual item is printed.
This one is interesting too, as this was released as a double play tape with the “Dreamtime Live at the Lyceum” which had been free with the initial copies of the vinyl album.
