"This is an early 'Ceremony' press pic from a session with photographer Russell Young who was an LA based British photographer... he was a nice guy and we wanted to keep up the 'Brit' vibe after using Andrew MacPherson for all the Sonic Temple stuff.
You can tell it's early Ceremony era because it's before I got the ridiculous “surfer” haircut that ended up being used in a later session for the album sleeve!!!
The close up does however highlight the "chest rug" which isn't as obvious in the other pics from the session... hahaha"
