"I think this was possibly the first official Death Cult photo shoot in 1983 and Beggars Banquet hired Bleddyn Butcher to do it.
A few years earlier I had worked at Whittington Hospital in Archway, North London so I knew that area really well and we just grabbed shots wherever we could around there on the day.
This one was taken at Highgate Cemetery in front of the vault of Baron Dalziel and with me, Ian, Jamie and Ray Mondo upfront then in the background was a guy called Bingo, who was ex army and went on from following us to the Sex Gang Children, even performing onstage with them."
